Clowns.... i think we can still win it this year, although Cats will be hard to beat
why do they think the Blues can win one? they have no backline and they have one good forward..our team is still young.

Now it's come to a crossroads with this bloke.Ros Lyon wrote:Our team is not young.
He's been the biggest donut for the last couple of weeks and has contributed nothing of substance to this forum.
Mods time to grow some and ditch this peanut.
It's obvious those who have been here longer than me can spot a troll from miles away and my belief is that they have done so correctly on this occasion.

If we don't get one this year, I believe Carlton are better poised to strike for the flag. Their list has a blend of young and old, and though it has it's faults, will only get better, while ours has stagnated, if not gone backwards. Gibbs, Murphy, Judd and Stevens make a formiddable on-ball brigade, and with Fevola up forward anything is possible.

Those guy's (apart from Murphy) ain't THAT young...they better make the best out of it soon. As for this year, if they're gonna take out a premiership, the best start would be from somewhere in the eight.Winmarvellous wrote:If we don't get one this year, I believe Carlton are better poised to strike for the flag. There could be one fly in the ointment for Carlton and that is how to keep all these great players together.
With so much of their salary cap invested into a handful of players, I can see that they may have to unload a player or two in order to stay under the salary cap.
They need defenders and some good ruckman and as good a Fevola is, he never seems to kick bags against full backs like Max, Scarlett, Glass, in other words the very good ones.
