drink driving with a mobile and crashed the car.

Another filth player involved as well.

Lance or James??

Like Didak last year?

Dont bet on it.

Malthouse doesn't care about player behaviour.

Shaw will be selected on Malthouse and the filth culture.

Didn't Wellingham get suspended? Shaw should follow in the name of consistency but you're right...

yeah you are right but Malthouse has previously stated that it is his duty to select the best 22.

is Shaw in the best 22? if so you will see him Saturday.

caller to SEN in wee small hours indicated that this had occurred around midnight
also named other player - referred to in a different context elsewhere in this thread - indicated that the other player had fled the scene
caller claimed to know the tow truck driver involved,

Rumours are that Didak was the other player and that Heath may not have been driving. Nothing concrete atm.

Reading the BF forum thread, for those who don't want to...
Triple J who obviously get their news from the ABC have reported that Heath Shaw will be charged with drink driving after failing a breath test after an accident.

from the herald sun
TWO senior Collingwood players are believed to have been involved in a drink-driving incident on the weekend.

Victoria Police has confirmed two people were in a car which ploughed into several parked cars in Rixon St, East Kew about 11.30pm.

The driver, a 22-year-old from East Kew, is believed to have been served with a penalty notice after he was found to be over the legal blood-alcohol limit.

Penalty notices are served to drivers who record a blood alcohol level of up to .15 - with penalties dependent on the exact amount of alcohol found in the driver's system.

The maximum penalty is 14 month loss of licence.

Collingwood has refused to comment on the claims, but the club has said it will issue a statement later today.

And from the Pies:
The Collingwood Football Club can confirm Heath Shaw was in a minor car accident when the car he was driving made contact with a stationary vehicle last night. Heath was not injured, however police later charged him with drink driving.

The club will hold a press conference at the Lexus Centre at 2pm today. There will be no further comment from anyone at the club until that time.

I can see Pert at the press conference already... Heath and Alan with heads down, as Pert slaps away all questions...

Both fools will play against us, but atleast we have some ammo to yell from the stands...

That's very unfair. Pert always has the decency to answer "tough" questions from Tony Jones...and questions from no-one else...

Has it been confirmed that Didak is the other player or is it just speculation?

"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

SEN news just said that Shaw won't be suspended, just fined and will play this week!

Typical!!
