Listened on the Radio and sounds like Gwilt did some good things.

If possible could someone please put a higlights package together of everything that Gwilt did? Or alternatively maybe a highlights pack with Roo's mark, and a few of hte other courages on the body line things in the last qtr.

Actually, maybe just load up the entire last qtr! Thanks in advance!

Obviously his huge head of hair gets him more media attention than others, but he was genuinely good today.

Dropped a few marks he might have otherwise taken, but kicked straight and provided a good target.

Also his second efforts and 1%'ers were great. The game winning smother in the last few minutes just capped his game off.

Very good, however he will need to play like that consistently to be on the list next year...

Six solid, crucial possessions in the last quarter.
Four of those contested.

One very desperate smother also.

Muffed a contest which let Burgoyne kick his goal in the last.

Was a solid half of footy from Gwilt.

A couple of his touches in the last were just hard, crucial ones.

gwilt was a surprise, went forward a couple of times and kicked two
he had the job on westhoff after bj became frustrated.

westhoff didn't have much impact afterwards

another mention to fiora, he went alright, kicked a couple as well, went into contests and kicked pretty well

True...saved our arse when he replaced BJ. Westhoff knew his opponent was frustrated and played to it...Gwilt was cool as. Great job by 'Phil Lynott'!

Gwilt really stepped and played his best game for us fora long long time.

This was VERY pleasing as in his other AFL games this year he looked all at sea.

Today he was good.

Great second half from Gwilt -the good thing about him is he doesn't panic under pressure, just puts his head down and goes about his business.

Got to call em as you see em,in my top 5,interesting felt he gained confidence getting hands on the ball in forward half early, then finishing off game.better suited midfield ,half forward? prefer LONG kicking mids imo

Aside from his firt game against the Crows in a final in 2005 it was the best game i have seen him play for the club. The smother he did in the last qtr summed up his whole day, he was brilliant

I have been very critical of Gwilt in the past but he was very good today.

For christ sake PLAY HIM FOWARD EVERY WEEK. As a defender he is less accountable than id like to see but he adds something up foward. Good hands, a decent kick, strong body and decent speed. He has all the tools to be a handy mid size HFF or FP

started to learn that he has the body for AFL football and used it to push port players under the ball. If he can continue to do this and not go over board and give away frees as he did against the blues he could become a VERY VERY good backman/winger

Gwilt's kicking is as I said earlier probably the second best in the team to Goddards.

he makes a 50m kick look like a 30m kick.

his handpassing is often terrible and gets caught out when he has to think.

the coach should tell gwilt every time he gets the ball kick it at goals or any st kilda player in front of him.

its when he stops to think he is gone.

either that, or put him in the forward line, tell him to run at the ball, and where ever he is, kick at goals, im pretty sure one day we'll see gwilt kick one from 70m.
