Evidently Birss and Rix are both not playing for Casey today.
BS has stated that he thinks Fiora has a quad injury. And Gram was certainly looking proppy last week.
So one or two changes tomorrow?

I'd be surprized if Rix is a replacement for either Fiora or Gram, unless kosi is going to play as a permanent FF?saintsRrising wrote:Evidently Birss and Rix are both not playing for Casey today.

Distinct possibility Magic to stretch Port down back.....do think it could leave us exposed for run though which is a worry.Mr Magic wrote:I'd be surprized if Rix is a replacement for either Fiora or Gram, unless kosi is going to play as a permanent FF?saintsRrising wrote:Evidently Birss and Rix are both not playing for Casey today.

Get a clue and get your facts straight before you mention me in your post...sunsaint wrote:Dont you love it, it only takes one thread to reduce any future posts by St Fidelius, to be ignored with the disdain he deserves.
if you think that rix is our future, pity you
I have stated that if Rix plays he would beat Deluca and so would have McEvoy...
McEvoy = FutureSt Fidelius wrote: If Deluca plays, yes Rix should win....
but is that the path we want ...
promote a player that has no future at the club???
F*** it was a good chance to promote him and forget about Rix and Gardiner, both should go IMO
Rix = none
get a clue FFS
a personal attack like yours deserves a warning IMO....
got something to say without a personal attack
if not shut the F*** up
and the words from captain obvious...
Michael Gardiner apparently did F*** all for the scorps this week...markp wrote:Those who work at the club, are best placed to judge, and have the final say have decided for whatever reason that McEvoy is not ready.... obviously they should be sacked.
Yet he was selected and played against the Eagles last week without showing F*** all previously ....
Yeah good call on stating the obvious, but a forum is to at least ask WHY and have an opinion...
Again ...
NO future in selecting Gardiner or Rix IMO

Well, I for one thought that M. Gardiner's form was improving and that he was contributing good solid footy pre injury - the only real problem was that when he was fit King was (generally) not and vice versa.
Hopefully he will continue that trajectory because, if we can make the finals, he will be required - along with King.
I just think that M. Gardiner is a much better option than Rix (or Blake or Koschitzke) because he has the skill set and know how to match his endeavour.
He brings more to the side as a ruckman that can Rix, Blake or Koschitzke (who is required elsewhere).
Without very strong rucks (plural) you do not get far in finals football.
We learnt that in 1997 and nothing has changed since.
If we have a mid-field deficiency, you do not address that by culling a ruckman and adding another mid-fielder.
You address it by reviewing the mid-fielders on the park and at your disposal.

Why don't you at least address why you posted this...
When I've already stated that if Rix was selected he would beat Deluca...sunsaint wrote:Dont you love it, it only takes one thread to reduce any future posts by St Fidelius, to be ignored with the disdain he deserves.
You made that pathetic post and at the very least explain just why you posted it in the first place, before suggesting that I should be out of here
You have suggested that I should be out of here and that I should be ignored with the disdain I deserve...
Did I get personal with you???
Did I personally attack you???
Yep, carry on...
at the very least have the intelligence to read your PM's, I sent you one last night, which may have avoided this being sent on a public forum, but obviously you haven't got a clue.

Not once did I mention any player, get your facts right.St Fidelius wrote:Don't personalise in your post and get a clue...
If you personalise again I will contact the mods

have some sort of clue before you shoot your mouth off Rolling Eyes
If stating that I will treat any future posts with disdain, is personalised, you have a serious problem, given the language you attack everyone with.
Please feel free to go crying to the mods.
My posts are at least civil.

So ins for next week.
Max if fit.
With Birss and Armo possible ins as well with Ball out.
Geary was very quiet and so he may go.
In the reserves Raph was BOG..but was poor the weeks prior and so yoy would want to see some conistency with him before bring him back...particulary with Gwilt have played quitea good game.
I have not heard any reports
on how the following went at Casey;
Allen,
Gardi,
Ben.
However height is not the Pies strong point and so our need may be more for a small plus Max.
It is a pity that Allen is not in the form he was showing early this season...
