A Saints supporter who owns a book shop.Teflon wrote:whered you hear that Bev? and Id reckon that definately spells career curtains dont it ?....once the books are out...lookout...
I'll be buying it.
Fare chance it is curtains anyway. But I would guess it would take a while to write the book. He did it himself unlike other sports people who get other people to do it. Is there anything he can't do

Thanks for the heads up Bev
As for it being curtains this doesn't quite seal the deal for me yet...
Didn't he have his testimonial last year, isn't that something they normally do towards the end of a players career?

How many players have written autobiographies and then still played on?????....
“Yeah….nah””
It's a marketing thing. If he releases it now and plays on, he can write a new one later explaining his 2009 Brownlow Medal win and the thrill of back to back premierships in 2009 and 2010 (maybe 3 in a row if things go well this year)Teflon wrote:Testimonials dont have to occur in your last season at all.Armoooo wrote:Thanks for the heads up Bev

Plugger wrote one when he was still a Saint, wrote it with Ken Piesse in 1992
Followed Saints since '71
Sir Robert Harvey was my favorite player
Stewie Lowe and Plugger before that.
Loved watching Rooey and Jack Steven
Now looking forward to the future
Some people make things happen, some people watch things happen, but most just say " What the f#&k happened!".
