A simple YES or NO will do (I don't know how to start polls )!!
The question should be who do we bring in to do a better job. In this case I infer it's possible upside of dropping a player to prove a point. It should certainly not be so Lyon can prove he doesn't have special love for his Sydney boys (I for one couldn't care less if he does, he's got more history with them, as long as he doesn't go extending that love to current swans during games, love away Rossy). I wouldn't do it, but he's shown us nothing near what I'd hoped when we got him.
More powerful message than dropping Dal? Frankly, as much as we blow our own trumpets and work and rework our opinions on here, Ross Lyon and the selectors should never, not ever, make selections to please the masses. If attracting fans by playing favourites ever becomes necessary, then we'll be in really big trouble.
PS. Post #1000. Freaky.

How can a bloke who's played just 11 games be regarded as a protected species?
Fair dinkum, eleven or so days ago he had 19 touches and 2 goals after four weeks out.
Young Geary has been Best Saint on Ground for Scorps last 2 matches. Had 40 possessions last match. and has been kicking goals. The form of Schneider does not justify playing him in front of Geary at this time.
If Schneider is as good as Ross says he is i wish he could start showing it consistently...We may have to wait until next year, after a preseason with our soft tissue gurus.....
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

If we want someone to play that role, bring in Geary.
If we want a crumbing forward who can snag goals from nowhere, then keep Schneider.
It's this business of playing to our weaknesses and not our strengths that is shitting me up the wall when it comes to the saints.
100% correct.
he's playing everywhere except where he's good
Is that him not following team orders?
His first half down back against the Hawks was deplorable....is that his fault or the panels', I don't know???

to me he has done nothing to show that he will be anything but a gop
I think if he turns out to be a GOP, that's a good result.
That would be one step ahead of the Barely Ordinary Players (BOP) midfielders we currently have - Leigh Fisher, Aaron Fiora, Shane Birss, Jayden Attard.

its a shame that l fish has stalled. hopefully at casey he is adding more strings to his bow to become a better player
fiora unless he pulls out massive games will be gone,
even though the boss obviously likes attard i dont see a place for him long term as he tends to do bugger all usually...massive generalisation i know but apart from a game or two he has been beaten
birss will stay and would get a game at a half dozen other clubs
if geary turns out to be a gop expect mass-wrist slitting to begin...he is talked up so much on here
Adam Schneider: 17 touches, four goals, strong forward pressure, creative - and often did great work off the ball.
Just a rubbish player who should be delisted, eh?
I'm in your corner, lad. Keep up the good work. Quality players should be given every chance, but they're the ones who make the difference in September.

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

On the bus to Perth airport... RL was heard sing:
My Sydney love child... ooh ooh,
You're driving me wild... ooh ooh, oh yeah.
I'll stand right by ya... ooh ooh,
You'll be our next Messiah... ooh ooh, oh yeah.
My lil' Sydney love child.
The lid is off after Round 2! Enjoy the journey, coz you just don't know where we'll end up. Live for today and seize the moment.

Amen.
Big Schneider supporter. Admit, he has had some average games this year, but we have been rewarded for keeping with him.

difinitely getting fitter... 6 weeks ago he was carrying an obvious spare tire.. i was calling him pork chop in the stands.... clearly the young man can play, and is hitting form at the right time of year.. good news..

Yep when he plays well he looks fit. If he does nothing next week he will be fat and unfit again. Changes like the wind.
