The main reason why Schneider should be dropped is that he is not "taking his turn".
He refuses to put his head over the ball and do the disciplined thing for the team.
He has one or two serviceable games for this football club and one of those was against Melbourne.
He needs to go back to Casey and earn his spot back in the senior team. I'd rather a raw kid with enthusiasm and a big work rate who makes a few errors than an experienced player too lazy to work for his team mates.

FFS - you guys gave Blake 10 years to come good...
I reckon Schneider needs a LITTLE bit of support.
He snagged 5 against the Dees - 5 goals in a game of football would seem like a good game to me....Brooksy_Babe_24 wrote:YES hasn't really played a good game all season.

That is just a plainly ridiculous statement........

I'm not a massive fan of Blake but he has and shows two things that Schneider does not. He puts his body on the line each week and his commitment is beyond question.evertonfc wrote:FFS - you guys gave Blake 10 years to come good...
Blake's skills let him down time and again. But Schnieder's skills aren't silky enough to counteract his faults.

Can't believe what I'm reading at times.
New team, lack of fitness, lack of regular game time.
If we agree that it takes time to learn how your team mates play, then he needs time.
Or do we expect ALL recruits to do for us what Judd has done for Carlton?

Unbelievable.
I look forward to the club delisting him at the end of the season before he turns around his career somewhere else.
I agree, let's turn our back on blokes who have potentially game-breaking qualities, rather than try and work out how to get this out of them.

Maybe he could do all that at Casey and training rather than in the 1's where it may cost us 4 points....WayneJudson42 wrote:Can't believe what I'm reading at times.

Not sure tackling and running to create space are different at our club to any others but hey, let's see if he can learn that soon....

Fair comment. But we don't know what his role is, do we?
Maybe he is required to play an outside role? He has finishing skills which we all agree we lack. so, if he goes in and under, how's he supposed to finish?
Same goes for Milne. Required to apply some pressure, but main job is to stay clear and crumb. Schneids isn't doing it at the moment.
Maybe the coach rates him highly enough that he'll stick with him. who knows? There were quite a few whocouldn't believe why he selected CJ.
Is Adam Schneider the new Fiora????????

As I see it, Schneider has shown himself to be a more than a capable player at this level. Game breaking at times. Even with us.WayneJudson42 wrote: Is Adam Schneider the new Fiora????????
The challenge for us, and for him, is to produce that consistenly.
He does have talent. Yes, he needs to work a bit harder but I think his interrupted pre-season has weighed on his ability to string together consistent games.
But he has played some good games for us. Really good. To suggest otherwise is ridiculous.
Blokes with talent you must give every opportunity to. Granted, if I played for St Kilda, I'd try my guts out and give everything for the cause, but if you want to succeed, you do actually need the element of skill Schneider has.

I agree EFC. Obviously, you're not in the mood for some sarcasm today. Read my other posts.
You have give him time to settle in... time to become the latest whipping boy... time to be dropped coz some supporters reckon he's a fav of RL being from Sydney and all that... timeto justify why he isn't as good as Judd.

yet to see him work hard and get to the contests
is in bad form and needs to go back to the VFL. Not writing him off by a long way, just struggling to contribute to the team.
I want him to be more consistant, cj despite his short comings (has half the skills) is in better form, working his arse off and putting in good performances. If schneider can get to that work rate level then we will have a very handy player
