Is anyone really surprised?
Think about it, this is the St Kilda Football Club we support.
History shows we were going to get let down.
History shows we were going to get let down.
A year that doesn't end in frustration...please
When I read this article I knew we were in trouble.

Couldn't agree more. Like the Geelong of a few years back, this was CLASSIC St.Kilda - failing to take a massive opportunity against poorer opposition.
The only bonus is that Collingwood and Brisbane also lost - now the situation is how the team wanted it, IN THEIR HANDS. Play soft for the rest of the year like yesterday and they will desrevdly not make the Finals. Show some ticker and they will.
Simple as that.

Please...let's win a Premiership before GEELONG!!!! (O.k., so we've missed that opportunity...maybe let's win the next one before Geelong????)

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

what bothers me is how the supporters get the blame for this... I mean, I hate the threads which brag about how well we are doing and how we will finsih fourth or higher... etc, etc, but I don't post in them generally.
I don't think its fair that when someone say s "We will definitely win - percentage booster" they get the blame for the loss. those people didn't lose the game - our players did.
Our suporters are not the mentally soft and fragile people who fell apart on Saturday - our players did.
Don't worry, I am sure we will atone for our loss, we have atoned for our softest displays every week this year - bulldogs round three, came out hard against Geelong at the start, still lost to them but let's face it they are Geelong, they 're the only team in their own league.
Still we fell away in the end but at least there was some improvement. Port, we responded to play fantastically and pip Richmond despite their late comeback. Brisbane we repsonded well by belting Melbourne and Sydney we responded well by beating freo side despite us being severely undermanned with three or four debutants and a lot of basic skill errors included.
So we should bounce back this time too.... hopefully....
