i think free kicks can be classified as clangers as well.mick13 wrote:I thought a clanger was a turnover, and a turnover is like a shank kick or handball?vacuous space wrote:Because not all clangers come from disposals.mick13 wrote:How can you have 7 clangers from 2 disposals?

Fair enough, whereas I think it was a monumental blunderfonz_#15 wrote:i can definately agree with you on that..maverick wrote:Not solely blaming HIM, far from it, probably not even having a crack at him, was asked to play a role he just couldn't do...fonz_#15 wrote:blake got thrown into the ruck for 10-15 minutes in the third last week and was good i admit.
who plays in defence if he plays ruck though?
and max went down so he was never going to ruck.
gardy was the right option, and to lay the blame soley on him is wrong.
having said that he has effectively bought to a close his career at st.kilda with that awful display.
he was out of his depth, but i still think the selection was right on thursday, but he just produced a stinker.

anyway life goes on..
the way i see it ross made the right decision replacing kosi with gardiner, but then gardiner just played like s*** and has shown he has very little to offer.
definate out next week.
we can't change the result so we move on.
lets fire up next week.

Look Gardi had a bad game this week..a shocker. But to write him off is ridiculous....and FF is ceratianly not his best gig that is for sure.
Sam Fisher for example had almost 30 disposals...but most of them were dreadful....he had a shocker too.
We had way too many passengers today. Way too many many.

I don't know what Lyon was thinking. West Coast spent all of 2005 proving that Michael Gardiner can't play FF. And Frawley spent a fair bit of his coaching career showing that Fiora isn't a defender. It's not why we lost, but those are two moves that I just can't begin to understand.plugger66 wrote:I was wrong that MG played there but I was right that he is no good in that psoition.
