Obviously has a few old mates who had $$$ on the eagles. Absolute rubbish today. Two kicks and three frees against.
Shouldn't have been picked.

Useless. Either he wasn't fit to play, or he's past it.

To be honest, I think he's past it.

Should have been made to earn his place back with good performances with Casey?

He couldn't have done worse than Gardiner.

MG was a waste of an air fare

I would think Geary or Birss would have won a lot more ball than MG.

well Blake was used as the back up ruckman last week .
Surely Allen would have been a better option up forward than a Gardiner who obviously wasnt match fit (or if he was well time to hang up the boots)

he played there in parts and was rubbish, i am not denying that..

but we replaced our second ruck kosi, with another ruckman so ross did the right thing

gardy was just no good.

Yes. Geary would have done better as a ruckman. A blind midget would have done a better job than Gardiner.

Disagree, we swapped our FF for gardiner, last week Blake played 2nd ruck...MG cannot play forward, he scored negative 19 champion data points, never seen that low before....

We lost this game mentally and in team selection nothing surer...

blake got thrown into the ruck for 10-15 minutes in the third last week and was good i admit.

who plays in defence if he plays ruck though?

and max went down so he was never going to ruck.

gardy was the right option, and to lay the blame soley on him is wrong.

having said that he has effectively bought to a close his career at st.kilda with that awful display.

It really staggers me that some people have the nerve to blame previous list decisions.

MG has been a complete and utter waste of time and resources.

Should be the last game he ever plays in a St Kilda jumper. That waste of space from Sydney should be shown the door too.

Says the guy sticking up for Michael Gardiner after a 2 disposal, 7 clanger performance.

Not solely blaming HIM, far from it, probably not even having a crack at him, was asked to play a role he just couldn't do...

i can definately agree with you on that..

he was out of his depth, but i still think the selection was right on thursday, but he just produced a stinker.
