It seems almost impossible for teams to win when they basically have to play with one player down. The loss of Max really really hurt us. It meant our players had to have more game time, and less rotations, and they basically had an extra player... which would have given them a lot of confidence going into the last quarter.

Yup, especially as they have had only 2 wins this year....must be brimming with confidence
Umpires were always going to be for the home side over there, but eagles won simply because they put in harder.
Unlucky Nick on your 150th - many let you down!
"The starting point of all achievement is desire. "
Umpiring was some of the most biased I have ever seen. Not using this as a full excuse, but after a while during the game, it starts to affect the team.
Every 50/50 seemed to go to them. The umpires are a disgrace taught by an absolute imbecile in Gieshan. The prick has never even umpired has he? What a joke!
Typical StKilda, I have been walking on air all week and now I feel like jumping off a bridge.
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."
St kilda's sponser should be Beyondblue depression help so when we witness this s**t again (and of course we will) we can just look at the jumper and get instant help.
I had a theory with my dad a couple of years ago wheter maybe the players get some form of sick enjoyment out of incuring this kind of pain on us the supporters, but im just majorly p1ssed off.
