What is a rat's tossbag?

Post: # 609093Post Milan Faletic »

I've heard of a rat's behind and I've heard of a tossbag but you would have to be pretty unique to be a rat's tossbag.

So, does this mean you're a Rod Butters hater JD?

I've been critical of Rod probably longer and louder than anyone on this board.

That I think he's a lying, two face, self interested piece of crap wouldn't be a surprise to most.

From my understanding "rats tossbag" originates from colonial America where villages would become so over run with rats that they would set sacks with food in them, wait til they got full, tie them off and toss them off cliffs. Hence the phrase "a rats tossbag" the name for the type of sack they used. :)

Toss Bag - Definition from Urban Dictionary

"Technically a used condom. Used for anyone who is less useful than the space they take up on this planet. "

And given the way those rodents breed,Rats would need a never ending supply of tossbags ........

They invented the catapult for this very reason.

They actually called it the ratapult for obvious reasons before they worked out they could use it on cats of course.

I don't give a Rats Tossbag what Malcolm Blight, Rod Butters and Grant Thomas have to say about a club that none of them are a part of anymore. I loved GT and still really like him, but why all the fuss still. Rod and Malcolm I don't give a toss about anymore. Lets look to the future instead of digging up the past.

The Urban Dictionary listing for tossbag

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=tossbag

So accordingly to this a rats tossbag makes absolutely no sense. Did we expect anything else from Malcolm?

When I was training to be on the Animal Emergency Response Team for the RSPCA, I learnt that a Rat's Tossbag is a device to be used when a rodent must be flung from a high place. It is used to protect the animal from blunt trauma upon landing.

Here is an example of one of the products used by the Edinburgh AEMT.

Perhaps The Fireman has used one before?
