It's a little hard for me to read the ins and outs with the coloured letters - is it just me or does anyone else have the same trouble?

Our team looks OK, and WC still has plenty of good players in the line up. This will be no easy game.

I'm not convinced about Gardiner at full forward, although I don't mind having him in the team. Who are the guys at FB & CHB for the Weagles? There's a couple on the bench I've never heard of either.

Who would have thought the Eagles forward line would look more potent than it's midfield.

Wilkes and McKenzie are young blokes that show plenty of promise, Riewoldt should have an absolute field day though, I can see any match up for him, not a single one, they don't have any tall players with a big enough tank IMO...

I would expect McQualter to get the job on Priddis, Selwood will probably go to Dal...

Hudghton on Lynch, Blake on Hansen.
Wirrpanda is a danger player, I hope he gets paid the respect he deserves.

We match up extremely well against these guys, but we still need 100% effort for 4 quarters...

Kennedy and Glass are both big outs for the Weagles.

I expect Milne and Schneider to havea big day out between them.

Whichever tall supports Rooey (and most likey it will be a number rotating through all day) just have to ensure that they compete and provide opportunities.

They're side on paper really isn't that bad,and considering some of there outs it's bewildering to think they've only won 2 games.

I'll be happy with the 4pts

Nope.

Dempster on Priddis, McQualter on Fletcher.

Eddy on Wirrpanda, with the possibility of Gilbert swinging forward at some stage.

CHB and FB are good bets.

M.Gards at full foward looks likley to undo all the goo work we
have worked so hard for,a mobile foward line,
much rather have frase up there.
or some of the younger guys.

BIT ANGRY!

Hope MG has a good game. It would be good to get 6 games into him before September.

Having MG, Kosi and Kingy firing come September will make us hard to beat.

With MG and Kingy as our key Ruckman and Kosi rotating through as well in between kicking goals and helping down back.

If all three are firing it also helps our mids with first use of the footy.

It's not like he'll stay at full forward the entire game. It's not like he's our sole goal kicker.

Its not likely he will play at FF at all.

Hope you're right, one of the worst forward lines we have picked for a while (on paper anyway)

11 premiership players

only 2 of them aren't backbone players...

So different to the 2006 grand final team

B: Adam Selwood Darren Glass David Wirrpanda
HB: Brett Jones Adam Hunter Beau Waters
C: Michael Braun Ben Cousins Andrew Embley
HF: Daniel Chick Ashley Hansen Tyson Stenglein
F: Chad Fletcher Quinten Lynch Rowan Jones
Foll: Dean Cox Chris Judd Daniel Kerr
Int: Steven Armstrong Drew Banfield Sam Butler
Mark Seaby

So many class players missing

Stating the obvious here but Kerr,Judd, cousins are big blows for you guys. If you were able to chuck them on our list I don't think we'd ever get beaten

i'm glad kosi was suspended for this match and not another match but without him, our forward line doesn't have many targets left unless gards plays forward.

still got plenty of run in the tank with so many running players, we should win and i think milney or roo will kick a bag against the young eagles defence

I'm shocked!!!

Is this the shortest ever thread about team selection ever?

Only 1 change. No arguments, no abuse.

No one complaining that Geary wasn't selected... or the Fiora was.

Wow. I'm impressed

The lid is off after Round 2! Enjoy the journey, coz you just don't know where we'll end up. Live for today and seize the moment.

While I'm inclined to agree that another marking forward would be good the selection committee may be thinking it might be wet. Does anyone know what the forecast for PErth is on the weekend? If it's going to be wet I think they've got it right.
