I'm with you, where the hell did Fiora's selection come from.

And after tonights effort, surely he won't be seen again in the saints colours!!!

congratulations sb.....you win the prize for being the first to bag him out following the game...........

Was not great......but was not poor....

Thought Armo and Kosi were very average tonight......

Eddy, Fiora, Milne, Dempster were serviceable

The rest were Good or better

the two Nicks were sensational

Dempster was great, Milney helped get us going, Eddy did some nice things and Fiora guaranteed Bakes a spot next week.

16 touches for someone who isn't up to AFL level against a top 3 team.

Hmmm. piss poor effort

Had a better game than Armo, Mini, Koschitzke, Milne, and possibly more. On par with Eddy and Dempster, I think.

I thought Fiora and Schneider cost us a bit in the first 20 minutes, but after that they worked in to the match well.

Why the Fiora bagging post game??

Yes he did not star but he did OK..certaianly his game was worthy of a saints player....and in particualr a player that would hae been going into the game under enormous pressure.

What some of you anti-Friora Einsteins have failed to realise is the RL decided to take the Hawks on with a running and pacey team.

Bringing in Fioara and Schneider was part of the mix that allowed us to overun the Hawks in the second half.

I thought Fiora was pretty decent imo tonight.

Definately went in for the ball, ran back with the flight to put on a spoil too, which was great. Hit targets kicking too.

What a waste of 8 pages of dribble.

Fiora

Post: # 606940Post Saints in 20?? »

I was watching Fiora play quite closely and assigned a plus one for all the positives and negative onw for all the mistakes and clangers, and had him well behind early and about neutral overall.
I just don't see the value in the guy compared to a Geary. It always seems that people say "will this player be in out next premiership?" and I don't see that with Fiora relative to a Geary, who also has had better form in the 2nds.
While I may never have played AFL football, thats my opinion.

If you think that his performance was enough to justify your personal attacks you are kidding yourself on, he is not in our starting 22, it's still only a matter of time before he is replaced by the likes of Geary, Birss, Steven, Baker or Xavier. The only difference is when you see Geary, Eddy, Armo and Birss etc. coming in and out of the side you know that they atleast have an upside, there is none of that upside for Fiora, we all talk about how skillful he is, he's a confidence player etc. etc. all that garbage. But realistically how many players have blossomed at his age, if anything he is probably past his peak.

Not a slur on him as a person, not saying he is rubbish, just saying he is not good enough to be in our 22 anymore...
