Asking our fans to make noise is like asking for three cheers at a funeral.

I try to get excited at our games and pumped up, but the lack of anyone else doing anything around me kinda stops you from doing it...

We basically need to come back from 10 goals down for our fans to start making some noise...

But yeah, get there.

I'll be cheering & making comments about the umpiring.
Geez I hope the neighbours talk to me sometime. They haven't for a few months.

I must say, congrats to all in the crowd tonight at the dome. At half time it looked like it could have been a blow out, but everyone stuck in there and by 3qtr time you would have thought there were 40,000 saints supporters in the stands! It was damn good to HEAR!

No noise in the 1st half.

Mayhem in the 2nd.

Slightly louder than a funeral. Made a difference in the comeback, too.

Only 41,000 though?

The members was an absolute buzz tonight!!

When rooey got the snap goal, the roar was unbelieveable.

For shame to those members who gave their tickets to Hawthorn supporters, a win to savour and i can guarentee those pea heart supporters will be there in 2 weeks.

Go sainters.

Hi SaintBev, more than anyhting else, the cheering and the clapping got louder in the second half purely to stick back at the Hawthorn supporters standing behind us on Aisle 38. Their arrogance and mass chants really upset even the mildest of Saints supporters, so you can imagine the noise and the barracking when we ran over the top of the "Mayblooms" and they had to stand there and take all of Ailse 38 turning around and giving them a few raspberries to send them on their way.

HA!

Was in amongst a massive Hawk crowd on Axcess 1 - my god they are horrible - repulsive in the 2nd quarter becoming quite obnoxious leaning toward "deserving of a belting" with comments about Roo and the Great Man.

How I loved the payout that came their way in the second half. The Saints crowd started to believe in the second half. I think prior to that half of footy we were still wondering, and rghtly so.

The Saints really ARE coming.

Yep...thats wht had everyone fired up I think. Not only was it a fantastic comeback against the side 2nd on the ladder...like the Brisbane games in 2003/2004 it was the dawning realisation that our very best is good enough to beat a Top 2 side...and that the finals are beckoning wide now

There were a lot of monkeys thrown off backs tonight methinks

Hawks fans up in level 3 where I was were actually quite good. I actually thought that they were probably the easiest supporters to get along with, actually having a chat with a few of them.

Then there was this hawks supporter, vocal all night and rubbishing the umpires at every opportunity. Didn't seem pleased at half time even though they were up by a few goals.

By half way through the last quarter, he threw his scarf and beanie into the crowd, sat and watched until the end. The bloke who picked up the scarf he threw, offered it back to him and he refused. Apparently he had come over from adelaide a few times to see them play, and they have lost every time. Looks like they've lost a supporter.

I haven't been so excited at a game of footy for years. When the chant was going up it had the touch of Moorabbins about it.

It was awesome.. In the second half the crowd really got involved & vocal.. I go to watch the Sainters every week & second half of tonight's game reminded me of the round 22 match against Brisbane in 05 (when Milne kicked 11) The crowd was so vocal & united.. It was awesome to hear the chants & it seemed the whole crowd joined in singing & clapping the team song.. The game was one to savour.. Well done boys for the great performance on the field & well done too all of us, as supporters, who answered the call & made the atmosphere electric at the dome tonight!!

GO SAINTERS

Oh, and a big thumbs down to the hawthorn tool who decided it would be a good idea to take a running hip and shoulder into the footy buskers.

I've got a croaky voice and sore hands I clapped so much.

Ow, you guys make me feel so proud. We were screaming our heads off at the Mermaid Surf Club, what fun. My poor throat, will it ever recover. Unfortunately though no replay up here. The worst thing with 518 is that when the game is finished, there is no interviews, song etc. But tonight I go to bed a very happy girl. By the way, I loooooooooooove St Kilda
