Maybe they could get Hodge and Judd and have the 3 draft picks together? :)

We would have to have had the most players on that show in the past 3 years...
Dal, Ball, Hamill, Maguire, Riewoldt just from memory, not sure about Gehrig and Hayes...

ROBERT HARVEY A.K.A The Great Man, Banger, Harves, Ol' Man River...
384 games, 4 B&F's, 3 EJ Whitten Medals, St.Kilda Captain, 2 Time Brownlow Medalist, 8 Time All Australian, 2nd Highest Brownlow votes poller.... The greatest of ALL TIME!!

mid last year a viewer wrote into the program and pointed out that the player that sat in the middle seat- their team won the following week

resulted in the panelists the following week alternating seats during the show segments.

and or sitting on each others knee- Big Browny at the bottom,.

From memor Dal was on that week and in the middle and we won :).............

desperate supporters will grab onto anything :P

for those that didn't watch - they didn't have Judd, Hodge and Ball
1,2,3 from THAT draft

but they did have 1,2 - or was it 2,3- and then 8 Bartel went 8 and has the Brownlow and the Premiership to show how deep the draft was.

The best draft of all time for mine, some notable inclusions after pick number 8 include Nick Dal Santo (13), Jason Gram (19), Matt Maguire (21), Steve Johnson (24), Campbell Brown (32), Sam Mitchell (36), Leigh Montagna (37), Gary Ablett Jnr (40 F/S), Jarrad Waite (46), Dane Swan (58), Adam Schneider (60), Brian Lake (71).

Luke was easily the most intelligent on the Footy Show. Including Newman.
Wasn't he, or isn't he doing a Law degree ?
Great cricketer as well. Always well spoken and a credit to our club.

I think Sam really wants us to knock off Hawthorn. He seemed to be really goading Luke by repeatedly saying "
the Saints won't win will they Luke ?" Trying to fire some spirit up.
To me Luke seemed to have a steely resolve and belief we will win. Almost like there was a real plan untold.

We'll be there hoping for a 4 1/4 effort and a real chance to show the competition we're still around.

Maybe I'm dreamin' ?
"Tell him he's dreamin"

From memory Bally acheived an NTR score of 96.something for his VCE, and that was after he sat his final exams in London in the middle of the night because the saints were in London at the time on one of those end/pre season camps. I think he is doing a double degree in Business-Law at Monash !!

I have always tried to imagine how proud Luke's parents must be of him.

As a parent he seems to embody everything I could want from my son.
(A lot more than I could deliver as well I might add).

Intelligence, humility, dexterity and sheer application to a task.
My son ticks items 1+2 and I'm working on 4.
Number three is a gene thing.
Sorry Michael, I got dealt the same cards there.

What a role model Luke is !

And I have got to say the future looks bright after Harvs with people like Luke being the spokesmen for our Club in the future.
