Promising signs indeed, but not too much emphasis should be put on performances at an under-age level as the comparitive strength of teams can vary from year to year, and game to game depending on the availability of certain players.

However Aussie's coaching history was good prior to this, and he would be ideal for us in a development role.

I don't think Aussie is a AFL coach in waiting, may do alright in lower levels as above but as a AFL coach???

I just can't see someone who had a lot of motivation issues through out his career being up to coach AFL. Hope he proves me wrong thou.
