sunday (first week of school holidays)

WIN WIN for everyone
The only thing being that at least one of these games would need to be Saturday Night to fit in with the TV networks !!
sat night works in the first week, hell it works in the second. Thing that is important is to give the families time to get up there for the first game (thus either sat night or sunday arvo) and time on the second weekend to get back if they can only budget for one week.

Lots of kids and families would fill that little stadium. See the breakdown of the figures and all the AFL care about are the end number of people watching the games up there.

This is more an opportunity for the saints to create new value adding to their memberships. I could see a family buying a "membership in the sun" which might include entry, discounts or tie ins with other places to visit on the gold coast.

Plus it would allow the AFL to have the use of the saints to push the brand up there (with the saints branding in with it)

For me it would have to be:

*More Saturday Day/Night games

*No Sunday Early/Twilight match

*12-13 games at TD, 4-5 games at MCG (one of these being a home game against a high drawing Melb club)

*17 Matches in Melbourne in total

*5 Interstate matches (1x GC, 1x Syd (ANZ Stadium), 1x Perth (Not Fremantle!!!), 1x Adel and 1x Bris)

*Anzac Day is on a Saturday next year, maybe try a Home game the Friday Night or Sat Night after Coll-Ess play?

*Or take Queens Birthday off Melbourne and play Collingwood

There my thoughts. Though Im certain the AFL will muster up something to delite me im guessing...
