Lots of kids and families would fill that little stadium. See the breakdown of the figures and all the AFL care about are the end number of people watching the games up there.
This is more an opportunity for the saints to create new value adding to their memberships. I could see a family buying a "membership in the sun" which might include entry, discounts or tie ins with other places to visit on the gold coast.
Plus it would allow the AFL to have the use of the saints to push the brand up there (with the saints branding in with it)
