Just saw Duncan make a nice lead to HBF , take a nice overhead mark and kick the ball 50 meters down the line.

SA is playing all over NSW/ACT - 5 goals to 1 in the first quarter

Has Natanui and Rich played yet??

Interested how they go, not that we'll get them.

P.S. Does Natanui need to do something with that hairstyle or what?!

I was thinking the same thing aswell. :p In the last game there was also a Roughead playing.

Another big defeat to Tasmania in the last game.

Now its Vic Metro v W.A, with NATANUI playing.

Spending a week at St Kilda Football Club has exceeded all expectations for the Saints' new scholarship players, 15 year old Joshua Duncan and 16 year old Khan Haretuku. Both boys spent a week at Moorabbin under the guidance of Saints Recruiting Manager, John Beveridge and Sydney representative, Danny Ryan.

Saints, jump on this kid - gun.

Also impressed by #31 for Vic Metro - can't think of his name... very Sam Fisher like across half back.

yeah banner played well, was in everything in the second quarter!
is he a bit slow & shortish though?
real footballer as opposed to athlete
liked the look of him though, good and tough, got plenty of it, good skills

Zaharakis (24), Scully (32) and Blease (28) looked pretty good too
Also thought Lynch (8) was good up forward, got amongst it, created and was probably the most 'physical' player out there
Watts looks like a real talent and McKernan was pretty handy too

of the west aus' Yarran was classy, Rich got a fair bit of it and has got a great kick on him.
Hill (4) has got heaps of toe and kicked a lovely goal from outside 50m on the run and could have had another about two minutes later but miskicked.
Fiegert (14) did a few good things.
Natanui looks great, massive leap, athletic but didn't really influence the game all that much. gets amongst it though, just needs to get more dangerous.
missed Da Boer, didn't know what number he was, anyone see how he went?

it was hard to keep track of all the action at the game, hadn't seen these kids before & they ran out of records so had to piece together who was who :?
good fun to go and watch though, pretty good standard game, tough and good skills on show

I watched some of the games today on Fox and was quite interested in Duncan. I didn't see all of that game but from what I saw he looked pretty good. Without being dominant he was definately one of the better performed players for NSW. Playing as a midfielder he found a lot of the ball, particularly in space and while his skills aren't exceptional nor does he look that quick he looks a pretty solid, hard-work midfielder who looks a likely player who could prove to be a good pick for us. However, he is bottom age, born in June 91 so wouldn't be eligible for this draft, but that just makes his efforts as a bottom aged player better.

I watched most of the Vic Metro game and they by far and away were the most impressive. Mitch Banner was real impressive and won a stack of it, but from what I've read the query with him is his size as he's about 177-78cm. I was really impressed with Michael Hurley in defence. He's just really solid with a good long kick and won the MVP for Vic Metro. Jack Watts didn't have a massive game but looks a real good player and had a real presence about him. He won the Larke Medal for best division one player. Others I liked were Vickery, Zaharakis, Stanton and Blease. For WA, in my opinion Rich was easily their best.
