91,92 season video's?

Post: # 597511Post jonesy »

It's recently become apparent that I have lost two of my treasured..treasures. I've lost ' The year of the rising saints' and 'One step closer'. I still have the covers, but the video's have gone walkabouts and it could be almost the worst thing thats ever happened to me.

Anyone know if they are still available to buy anywhere?

Not sure if they're still available but that final in 91 against Geelong at Waverley was an epic encounter. Plugger booting 9 and Brownless 8. Just a shame we lost, could have been our year 91.

I think Sports Delivered recently overhauled their selection and got rid of any season highlights/That Was the Season That Was videos pre-2002 and I'm 99.99% sure they don't have them. Perhaps you could send them an email and ask if they still have any copies or whatnot?

Otherwise the chance they show up on ebay is the best bet, unfortunately.

Personally I'm annoyed there was no 2005 season highlights package...SOMETHING would have been nice.

Yeh ..the final in 91 against Geelong...was the match of the year and after finishing top 4 we were bounced out first week... ther system has since been changed...could have pushed the eagles that year for sure....Plugger/Winmar in their prime..gilbert Mc adam running amok...sigh...memories and another one that got away

I've got all three

Year of the Rising Saint - 91
One Step Closer - 92
Sack Sheldon - 93

priceless artefacts. I have a collection of all our monumental achievements that have been commemorated on video or dvd, most recently the streak. I would be happy to lend you both 'the year of the rising saints' and 'one step closer', but I want them back. It's always good to relive our successes. Even if we didn't get to premiership number 2 in the end, those videos at least reminded us that there was a time where we thought premiership number 2 was possible!

Hey Bazza, or should I say Lonesome, you still owe the Children's hosptial $250 if I'm not mistaken.

I guess a loser like you would never actually pay up on a bet.

Typical Carlton.
