Strange event sparks medical rush

Post: # 596945Post perfectionist »

GPs all over Australia have reported an increase in attendance from people complaining of the same symptoms, sparking fear of an epidemic. It appears that about 9:10pm last Saturday night, these people were all just nodding off in front of the TV, convinced that things on the screen were following a familiar pattern.

However, at about 9:15, strange events started to happen and the heart rate of these people, collectively, began to rise. By 9:30, pulse rates were reaching dangerously high rates. Apparently, a football player in Queensland was also affected, prompting him to run onto the field prematurely.

At 9:43, or thereabouts, much yelling, hooting and screaming could be heard from usually quite neighbourhoods (when certain football matches are played interstate). It was reported that there was much dancing and singing (apparently the same song about marching saints) and that this went on well into the night. There were frantic telephones to friends all asking the same question, "Did you tape it?"

These GPs are now reporting that single symptom that these people have reported is that of feeling "good". One doctor said, " I've known these people for 40 years - they never feel good!"

It was a strange Saturday night.

PS. The last time the Saints came back from more than 15 points behind at three quarter time was 1999 (against Geelong). It has only happened about twelve times in our history.

I went from depression to exstacy in the coarse of a hour.

Unbeliebable how happy i felt at the end of the game.

Haven't felt that joy all year, that extreme joy anyway.

Well that is farking disgraceful!

Do you know the stats for other clubs?

Surely they don't throw in the towel as much as we historically do!

The 99 win against the soft Cats was a special one. Remember being behind the goals in the last quarter and when Harvs ran into the open goal and put us within 12 the place erupted. The Geelong supporters weren't to be heard and the 2-3000 saints down there carried on like a soccer crowd. 25 down, into a strong breeze and we rolled them,it was one of the special moments.

Saturday night was brilliant. I did a flying jump through the air when Milney kicked the sealer, everyone at the pub was staring at me...who cares. I yelled "BRING OUT THE YAGGERBOMBS"
and so they did! I still feel a little average....

I'm not overly confident of rolling the B-lose but I'm sure we can catch an ale
