And Gilbert keeps his spot how???
Dont care who's injured or who's coming up from Casey, the way he is playing atm he is lacking confidence and cant even kick a drop punt properly FFS.
Will be a serviceable player, but u cant play him on potential, current form needs to be taken into account.
Solid ins though, hope Kosi is fit!!

He has been played straight off the back of a 6-8 week injury and is (was?) severely lacking in match fitness.super dooper wrote:And Gilbert keeps his spot how???
Should be good this week, but I said that about last week as well, at least it was an improvement on the week before.
Geary is probably the one who i'm amazed at keeping his spot. I guess he will be given the job on one of the small-mid forwards, as we don't have many options there.

agree on both counts, in fact its important to notice that we dropped 2 talls and a mid for 1 tall and 2 smalls.Otiman wrote:He has been played straight off the back of a 6-8 week injury and is (was?) severely lacking in match fitness.super dooper wrote:And Gilbert keeps his spot how???

Gilbert gives us something forward but the poor kid was out on his feet. This is from coming back from injury but also the reduced bench we had during the game.
Geary keeps his spot to help stop norths small forwards.

good selections. happy with those.Solar wrote:hayes, big mac and allen out. kosi, dal and milne in.
would have liked to see either big mac and allen retained, but who would miss?
they have had a taste of it now and will get many more chances over the years.

Agreed, Eddy played a good game and is worthy of his spot.
We are getting great value from the Rookie List at the moment. Granted we have picked some older players, but it's very promising.

ok that looks better with Allen still in!!
We've got a few options throughout and with the 2nd ruck in paticular .....Kozi or Blake with Allen into FF
Would also like to see Roo on his bike again , BJ freed up, with Gram running through midfield
If we can go up a notch or two from last weeks strong team effort we could give it a good shake IMHO!
