OK, I'll have acrack.
I think there have been two other systems.
1. From 1925 to about the early thirties- The umpire use to award one vote to the player he deemed best on the ground.
2. There was another system in about 1975 when Graham Moss won. Two umpires "both" gave 3,2,1 votes. Therefore the winner had 40+ votes
