with the delisting of mark mcgough i feel this made us a much less gathered unit. he was a shockin player but brought an aspect of a 'super gathered' club which was shown through saints radio

well judging from quotes and comments from the players they do' gather regularly' in smaller and whole group,

ie Milneys housewarming ( Nick R told) and the hypnotist
out to celebrate the new boys game ( BJ mentioned in interview)

being gathered is an underestimated aspect of a club i feel. a club which is gathered is a tight nit unit who understand eachother and function better as a team on the field. they are comfortable around each other and realise the aspects of the game each player has and doesnt have to offer. In our 'super gathered' days of grant thomas players would go to the coaches for dinner and feel comfortable. mark mcgough helped our list gather heavily not for his performance on the field, but off the field

no mark mcgough was just an example, he showed a gatheredness which it seems alot of our players are missing. Once goose and bakes are back i think it with bring our teams gatheredness up a level. we need to get it up with geelong and hawthorn if we wanna play finals. at the end of this year i think it will be important to look at the players which are keeping our club gathered and hang onto them
