Pets with Saintly Names

On a lighter note i thought we could discuss pets we have or have had that have saintly names.

I use to have a budgie named Winmar he was a top bird may he rest in peace.

This week mum purchased 4 fish and i said u have to name them and we decided on

ROO
KOSI
DAL
MILNEY

Roo is the leader of the tank and swims all day, Kosi has great abillities at getting around the tank but sadly i often find him crashing into the side wall, Milney is the trickster of the pack often doing flips and skirting around the tank, Dal's been tough to get a read on he has silky swimming skills but when it's feed time he finds himself on the outside of the pack looking for a cheap feed.

I have a cat called Doc, its a bit of an odd cat and is often c**k by friends and family

And LLTW i too used to have a bird named winmar

Two Cockatiels... (robert)HARVEY & NICKY(winmar). Both are expert at whistling the club song.

My dog Jaz is a Border Collie. She always sports a bright red collar (and lead)..and she's the official mascot for the North Mackay Saints U/14's.

St.Kilda got young blonde in draft-Mum got white dog from lost dog's home - named him after young draft pick.
Mum in local bowls club who sponser a player - X - is a delightful young man who makes sure his bowls club sponsors meet as many players as possible. With at least 10 team mates around him Xavier introduces Mum to Nick R - Mum gushes that she's named her dog after him! "Mates hang it on " & Nick says he's embarrassed by being named after a dog! Mum's reply that her "Nick" was blonde & beautiful like him earnt her a big laugh & a cuddle - not bad for an 80 year old!!

When I was a kid in 1983 we had a silver-coloured tabby cat which we called (at my insistance) Silvio. Anyone under a certain age probably won't get that one.
A mate of mine has a dog called Harves.

That'd be Silvio Foshini, won his court case against the swans because he didnt want to move north.

Also was one of the players Wacko Jacko was meant to dish off to when shooting, of course he didnt pass and was sacked for a young lad from the sticks who my sydney loving mate named his kelpie after ... PLUGGER.

When i was a kid about 8 i had a pet budgie that Mum made me call John Peter. She still thinks it's the funniest thing ever. My mum is quite sad sometimes.

Haha LENNY LEADS THE WAY i bought 4 fish at the start of this year and i called them Milney Bakes Dal and Harvs!!
It's funny Milney and Bakes were in their own pond and they had babies! But sadly Milney passed away and Bakes hasn't been sighted for quite some time but their babies are carrying on the Milne and Baker name

The upper pond has Dal and Harvs who have been the survivers and Harvs is the biggest, strongest fish.

Now im just waiting for us to buy a nice big fish for our tank so i can name it Lenny.
