Exactly and if people here think we can beat North without Lenny or Dal well they on something real bad.

I dont think we will beat them regardless if we have them both in or out. What is it going to prove dropping Dal Santo for one week, and then bringing him back in if he has played like shyte in the reserves?
He should be judged like the rest at Casey, we should be rewarding the players that are in good form, not selecting them just because of who they are.

Its not about being in the best in the reserves. If he does what RL wants him to do he is back and I am sure he will be doing that today. By the way he wasnt judged like the rest of the Saints players by being dropped so why cant it be the same with Casey.

Just got home from Coburg (took the little one & she started getting sooky so left in the 3rd qtr).

Dal hardly sighted, Milney kicked a few in a dominant 2nd qtr, Birss v.good, Raph as per Dal, Rixy fantastic, Jack Steven quite good, Fizz ok, Khan looks likey but at least 2 yrs away, Howard ok, L.Fisher ok.

Most of the senior boys there, saw Rock & Drain but didn't see Lyon.

Very scrappy, wet weather game being dominated by Casey. Funny to hear Tigers supporters make the effort to bag Pettifer at VFL level too!

Obviously he was, he was dropped as you say, because he hasn't been doing what RL wants him to do. He has been unaccountable and lazy all season. Dal Santo does what's best for him, not that of the team. Unless that changes he may as well get used to the scenery at Cranbourne

Yep Khan played deep forward, got his hands to quite a few, nice looking left footer, showed some razzle dazzle around a Tigers opponent at one stage which brought a roar of delight from the Saints players standing on the car park wing.

Dal did have a hard tag but I saw him get the ball very few times. Birss & Rixy were excellent.

Dal hardly sighted
Looks like a few more weeks playing reserves football then
Most of the senior boys there, saw Rock & Drain but didn't see Lyon.
Went to the Carlton game, otherwise he wont get a chance to see the Blues play live until we play them, due to them playing next week Sat afternoon while we are in the Gold Coast.

And you know what the coach wanted out of the day. Even if he isnt up next game why a few more weeks. Could be fantastic next game and then would go up. Good old tall poppy at its best.

All over. 151 - 98 to the scorps. Dal lifted slightly in the last, but still not great. Milne and rix the best of the saints. Birss and fisher were ok. no other standouts that i noticed.

Split round next week, therefore if he doesn't come in against the Roos it will be 2 wks until we play again. Not sure if the VFL have a week off, but if they dont he should be playing 2 more reserve games. Pretty simple really

Plugger66 unless the coaches wanted him to win 5 kicks total, only one not from a free and not lay a tackle or win a clearance all day then something was missing. He was sadly and hopelessly out of touch. Refused to run, seriously wouldn't have covered 5kms all day, didn't break a sweat, barely got any mud on him. I love the guy and would still probably bring him in to give us a chance next week but he was awful. Milne was ok but same old brain fades. Fiora as above, Birss and Fisher just good reserves players with limitations. On the bright side, Steven will be a gun and Howard has come on in leaps and bounds. He was fantastic against Richmond listed guys all day. Miles also has a heap of athletic ability.

Rewarding a guy who from all reports had a shocker at reserve level. Yeah, great idea. Great message to send to the rest of the group

u are a fair dinkum flog

"Dal Santo does what's best for him, not the team"

that comment shows you clearly have no idea

also, if Dal was dropped regardless of how many disposals he was getting, than he will get promoted regardless of how many disposal he gets, aslong as he does whatever it is Ross wants him to

he should definately play next week, no buts about it

first off, i'm not calling myself a Dud, i'm calling Ross one (along with various others, maybe u can supply me with a pic of urself?)

u obviously have a bias against Dal, and you've built up alot of credability over 14 posts....

you claim he shouldn'tget picked cos he "reportedly had a shocker"

how many kicks did he get?
how many handballs?
how many tackles?
how mnay 1%ers?
what did Ross want him to achieve?
did he achieve this?

maybe wait til u can actually make a half-informed decison before you sink the boot in to one of our best players

ROFL at the crap being directed at Dal Santo.

Dal Santo's form is down on previous years but his form is STILL GOOD.

a bad dal santo year = 22 possessions and 3 tackles per game (sorry 2.9  )

fair dinkum, calling him everything under the sun,

I've seen Dal Santo take a beating for shepherding for ball and lenny.

I've seen him polaxed for running back with the ball.

I"ve seen him dive on the boot of players to effect a spoil.

sure his confidence may be down and he had a few bad games, but some of the rubbish directed here on dal santo is pretty embarrassing.

You have to wonder whether the person giving the best players was actually at the game. Definitely conflicts with the people who went that have posted on here. :?
