sam gilbert why?

If St Kilda were a serious finals contender Gilbert should be at Casey until he regains match fitness.

Gilbert is hopelessly overrated by our supporters.

I was a big fan, and still am, but he needs to improve more than I realised to make it at this level.

Horribly one-sided and hasn't added enough strength to his frame.

Potentially a very good player but as it stands, needs match fitness and must learn how to kick.

i don't think he's match fit and should be working his way back through the reserves...

this reminds me of how Ross brought Raph straight into the side after a long term injury and left him to languish for 4-6 weeks as fitter players ran rings around him... completely destroyed his confidence

Gilbert is better than his recent form suggests but isn't fit enough to play well
