I DON'T WANT MILNE BACK IN THE SIDE
With the influx of enthusiastic youth, I'm pretty sure I don't want to see Milne come back into the side for quite a while if at all. I could just imagine him kicking a few goals for the scorps, comes back into the team next week against the roos in QLD and like previous form, particularly interstate, offering us nothing. Thoughts?

Robert Harvey- Simply the best
None of the new kids kicked any goals last night. It was the likes of Gram Glibert and Goddard who got the field goals.
Milne is a good crumming forward, and like those type he has good and bad games.

Lance or James??

I pay $600 per year for my membership so in my mind, it is the players who need to respect us...the Members! Be prepared son, you may soon be finding out that the Saints will be turning over players who cant take us to a flag...with Milney being one of them!homework wrote:Thanks mate I just think twirly should give more respect to Milneyfonz_#15 wrote:i will not comment on such a stupid topic but...i like your avatar homework, its a crackerhomework wrote:Geez.... he is our leading goalkicker for 08 and this is the resept that you give him twirly no respect wirly take a good look at yourself Milney plays crap interstate so play him in Melbourne

I think Milney is in our best 22 but he needs to become a bit more team oriented, he will come back in this year but maybe keep him out for next week only bcoz we all know how bad he plays interstate bring him back when we play the dome.
If you can't give the commitment you gave this year and you don't want to improve, you can go because we have unfinished business-Ross Lyon

I'll be going to coburg tomorrow to support Milney and Dal, hopefully i'll come back with a nice, positive report
Judging by the fact we played freo i don't think we'll win this week regardless of whether dal and milne come back or not, so part of me wishes they spend another week in the 2's so they're not the ones copping the blame when we lose.
On the other hand it would be great if the team as a whole could continue to lift and we give it to the Roo boys and Milne and Dal get their seasons right back on track.
They are still a big part of our team.
And i might as well mention it here -Eddy's tackling was first rate, good debut.

Destiny. It's in our hands.

We're not going to win games against anyone other than Melbourne and Freo if we can't kick more than 10 goals. He'll be back.
Ideal side for the rest of 2008
B: Blake, Hudghton, Gilbert
HB: Gram, S.Fisher, Goddard
C: Armitage, Hayes, Montagna
HF: Birss, Riewoldt, X.Clarke
F: Allen, Koschitzke, Milne
Foll: M.Gardiner, Ball, Dal Santo
Int: Harvey, Geary, King, McQualter
Depth: Schneider, Jones, Eddy, Dempster, Gwilt, McEvoy, L.Fisher, R.Clarke, Howard
That side should manage an average of at least 14 goals per game.
