Plugger - are you a complete imbecile?plugger66 wrote:You really dont understand footy do you.Mr Magic wrote:More missed frees against the Swines - just wait until the last qtr when the result is not in doubt and they'll een up the free kick count!
The Free kick count for the second qtr was Swans 6 Saints 0 (as ahown on the tv by Foxtel).
I'm not saying that they don't deserve those 6 frees, although commentators on TV have stated that some have been iffy or soft.
What I, and everybody bar you apparently, sees is that we are not receiving the frees we should be.
how many players have actually improved under ross lyon? Ross lyon was brought in to take the next step, not the next step down.chook23 wrote:thats rubbish Dan and you know it......Dan Warna wrote:change the players with the same coach, you'll get the same dribble.chook23 wrote:morelike cya to some sh.t playersmad saint guy wrote:To summarise, we're playing the same boring, unskilled, slow, defensive, stupid football as we have all year. No improvement whatsoever. See ya later Ross.
I was only a fair kick.....no matter how good my coach was I was still only a FAIR kick.....
take the blinkers off
I think you should take the blinkers off, Ross lyon is dragging the team down.
even in 07, you could see teams adapting to us, even when we were on top.
Ross Lyon has no imagination, no creativity and he is gimping anything good that St Kilda had.
when we beat sides, its despite ross lyon, not thanks to him.
we can bludgeon weak sides on raw talent, the coach adds nothing to this side, rather detracts from it.

A few things to take out of the game from half time:
1. The umpiring is that blatantly in favour of the home team its a joke. Iv had to restrain myself from throwing beers at the tv all night.
2. no takling pressure from the Saints whatsoever.
3. no forward structure - as would be expected with kosie late withdrawal. no idea why they didnt play Allen in this game.
4. Ball Montagna not getting enough of the knacker.
5. Gwilt playing one of his better games - McQualter looks desperate at the ball.

According to the official 'AFL-Saintsational Expert' you don't understand the game if you dare question the free kicks.

Not using it as an excuse, merely stating an observation that apparently everybody but the 'expert' can see.clarky449 wrote:Cant use that as an excuse thoughMr Magic wrote:Wrong, Wrong, Wrong!MadSaintFan wrote:A few things to take out of the game from half time:

Yeh got you their mate.... Umpires have been filthy but still would be nice if we put up a good fightMr Magic wrote:Not using it as an excuse, merely stating an observation that apparently everybody but the 'expert' can see.clarky449 wrote:Cant use that as an excuse thoughMr Magic wrote:Wrong, Wrong, Wrong!MadSaintFan wrote:A few things to take out of the game from half time:

The reason why I'm typing all those stats at 1/4 time, half time, etc. is because I wanted to watch - you know they say we are a great 1st quarter team, a lousy 2nd quarter team... I wanted to check who goes missing in the 2nd quarters, or what happens. i'll do the same thing at 3/4 time, and then I can have a better idea of what is going on.
If I don't type them at the end of the quarter, all you get is the end of the game stats, which can be misleading if we get back into things when the game is virtually all over.
