What would it take?

Post: # 584260Post CeilidhSaint »

I have supported the Saints since 1977.
I have been to a crack load of games, even in the 80's when we were terrible - Daryl Cowie anyone?
What would it take (apart from death) for you to stop following St Kilda and either support another team or not follow football at all?
eg Harvey is dropped for his last game, we trade Hayes for a first rounder this year or NOTHING, the team is always bigger than the individual!
I might add, a friend of mine, long time sufferer says she will stop when the two new teams come in....

Would never change teams but might just stop watching the AFL completely, especially when teams like the Gold Coast, Western Sydney, Brisbane Lions and the Sydney Swans will get (or continue to receive) preferential treatment from all aspects of the AFL.

Will shyt me up the wall, unless we become the West Sydney Saints - then I might change allegiances...

Same. Couldnt turn on the Sainters but constant rule changes and interpretations are making AFL very hard to watch sometimes.

Might I add, FRUSTRATING....
