When we beat the Dogs are we 'back on track'?

Post: # 581455Post The_Shadow »

The bulldogs are now highly rated by all and sundry. Who agrees that if we play well and win convincingly that we will be back on track for 2008?
Or, do we need to string together 4 or 5 wins in a row and get a couple more recognised scalps?

I'm a believer, stuff the window of opportunity.
I reckon our season turnaround will start on Sunday when we put the doggies back in their kennel...

We are RED WHITE & BLACK... These colours don't run!!!

I would consider us 'back' when we start dictating terms against teams that are challengers rather than reacting to them.

If we smother & frustrate the dogs by playing a defensive game I'll take the 4 points but it wouldn't change my opinion on where we are at.

The next two games (Dogs, then Swans) will really test where our team is at. We'd have to win one of those at least in order to be considered a genuine top 8 team.

Beating the dogs will definitely go a long way to righting the ship.

Regardless of style a win is a win is a win and against a side that has only lost one game after 11 rounds is a big win.

Potential season defining game today..... GO SAINTS!!!!

A dose of reality in all of this unjustified optimism...

Why does everyone want to jump the gun and declare that we've 'turned the corner'?

FFS - we could flog the Dogs by 10 goals today but it means nothing if we then go out and get smashed the next week.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Unfortunatly the saints are getting whipped , so saying "when we beat the dogs" was very premature, and it pains me to see the saints going down again to the dogs. :(
