I think the 8 is almost set after 10 rounds..the top 4 teams are almost certain to remain in the 8, the pies and swans have hit some devastating form of late, and the lions look good.

the 1 spot that may be up for grabs is that of the kangaroos, and the only two teams that look like they could take 8th place are st.kilda if we pull our fingers out of our arse, and port who are a lot better than their current position.

below 10th spot teams such as carlton, richmond, west coast and essendon just don't seem good enough to threaten the 8.

i think the race for the flag is wide open this year.
