no-one seemed capable of kicking it to either of them anyway, up until last week (improvement).

it was a big improvement and at least one of riewoldt, kosi or ferg should have finished with a bag given the amount of times it came in and the speed of delivery.

if we can keep that up and keep providing space for them in an open forward set up it is only a matter of time before one of them delivers.

but as i said, kosi needs to present more and roo and ferg need kicking lessons/practice.

apart from our big forwards negligible contribution on the scoreboard it was our best team contribution for the season, albeit against NO opposition.

can only be viewed as a confidence-booster an we'll have a better idea of whether we have turned a corner after sunday

One question. What can we do with Kosi to get better value than we are now. I still think Rooy should be the FF and Kosi the CHF. Rooy is great on the lead and Kosi can take a good contsted mark so that is where thay should be played to get maximum value.

P66, what do you think is the stumbling block to the team being able to try this.

And while Im asking. do you have any Idea why neither Roo or Kosi has been sent to CHB while MM is out injured?

And before I get as cryptic as RF "why does Roo never play in a position other than CHF?

maybe it's in his contract.

in all seriousness, i think we need to persevere with them as our two key forwards.

it just needs a bit of tweaking ... to riewoldt's kicking and kosi's presenting ... and it will start to pay off big time.

... so long as we give them a bit of space and get it in there quickly like we did on sunday.

ferguson looks okay as a quick leading medium but a couple of goals wouldn't go astray
