sRr & Teffers, you are putting b4e to shame.

If you believe that then why spend so much time pushing the opposite line? When B4E was at his cut&paste best, you were his biggest cheerleader (except when Teffers removed his head from Andrew's arse).

You are confusing me with other posters JD.

I read and understood GT's comments of that time.

My view is either that he just kept making shocking decisions on ruckmen.....or he did not rate ruckmen sufficiently high to secure a good enough one.....or have the long term view to grow his own.

Yes he traded for Brooks and paid a price way too high. However Brooks had not heart and was softer than most.....and would not have made it even without his knee injury.

No I'm not.

You probably did.

I'm sure you understood most things at the time.

McIntosh was taken in the 2002 draft by North with Pick 9 (the Saints traded pick 6 plus another for Brooks).
We took Brooks for picks 6 & 31, not exactly one of GT's greatest moves. We could have had Salopek or McIntosh for pick 6, both of whom looking to have great careers ahead of them. Brooks on the other hand, less said the better
Hindsight's always easy (eg, Richmond picking Tambling ahead of Buddy Franklin).

Brooks was a very talented kid for his size.

Blindly delusional optimist. Fan of the Blake.

I think you are...
Perhaps if you state EXACTLY what you think I posted we can discuss it.

Otherwise you are just making meaningless claims....that cannot really be discussed.

Gardiner looked ok in the ruck today. GT would never have recruited him.
