LYON not giving up!
"We're not hard and tough enough, often enough, across the board. Which is my responsibility to fix, so I've got an opportunity, I've got 13 weeks to fix it. If I can't do it, then we'll reassess."

Agree 100% IMHo we cant just sack the coach every 5 minutes like we used to. As far as im concerned we have to stick it out and put in the time it takes to be successful. I honestly belive we will be better for it in the ong run.LENNY LEADS THE WAY wrote:I for 1 haven't given up on Ross.
These things take time it's all about getting the right processes into place.
Ross will be a good coach lets give him some time.

Vilification of any kind shouldn't be tolerated and this young man should be put through mediation by the moderators.Gilbert=Legend wrote:What he should say is

"I've got 13 weeks to fix it."
i really didn't like hearing him say that in the press conference. it just didn't leave me with the upmost confidence in our couch. afterall, if he takes 13 weeks to fix it, we definately won't make finals.

Comment obviously from a young teenager. Gay is the new word for bad it seems. Re-education of today's youth is required.Saintschampions08 wrote:What has being gay got to do with anything?Gilbert=Legend wrote:What he should say is

And I remember when "gay" used to mean "happy".SENsaintsational wrote:Comment obviously from a young teenager. Gay is the new word for bad it seems. Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.
Nah it can mean a number of things, like stupid, dumb, happy, or homosexual ect. In vernacular its usually taken as stupid or dumb except when actually refering to homosexuals.SENsaintsational wrote:Comment obviously from a young teenager. Gay is the new word for bad it seems. Gotta say, being the father of two teenagers, the word gay is no longer the domain of homosexuality.
Of course it wasn’t to begin with.
But now, if you mention the word, of course you’re just vilifying someone.
Wikipedia’s latest contemporary definition, and I concur it is used this way, is “In contemporary culture, the word 'gay' also has pejorative non-sexualized usage (especially among younger generations) to mean 'rubbish'; for something not considered good [1]. The use of the term in this manner is contentious.â€

as far as Lyons is concerned, what else would he say.
Just the usual Coach lip service.
