I have left the ground hoarse for many years , from Moorabbin to Waverley to the Dome even when we would win one or 2 games a year but as time goes by you become a bit cynical , it was fun to have that blind faith, now I leave the ground hoarse form shouting my anger at incompetence.
Just the way it is but please don't call me a lesser supporter.

What a FANTASTIC post

Good onya me old mucker!!!!!! I've worn me scarf at every occasion since Sundee!!!! now is NOT the time to hide and hope that it (the bad time) goes away. My daughter bought me a saints baseball cap back in April 2000. I wore it all the time, at work, at play (

) a carlton supporter I used to bump into at the laundromat was forever giving me stick about the saints, and "why would you wear THAT cap?" I only wish that I had run into him when we drafted Sammy and then in 02, 05, and 06!!! Its battered and worn now, but I still have that cap and my dearest wish is to have it with me on that "last Saturday in September" and I can put it on in celebration!!!!!

In response to your original post: Its no challenge to the Jiggster me old son!!!! I'll be there in force!!!!! may it go with you also!!!!!!

But please oh please come and yell to your hearts content. It is annoying that more people have not responded - even to say that I m out of line challenging their committment - a sad indictment!

Thats what I like to hear - I grew up going to Moorabbin and remember the days when the commentator (AM radio) had to move his broadcast position coz we rocked the house!

I go to the footy weekend week out & couldnt imagine it any other way however I dont think we should support them in everything they do..

If they are not playing to their best why should we support that?? We have to expect them to produce their best, or atleast close to it..
