Saints for Gold Coast?

Is the last resort of the weak club?
What is the motto of the STKFC again?
Does that extend to supporters or is it just applied on the odd occasion?

Would be empty success if it happened for me.....

Here's topic for you...we've tried everywhere else to be and the next stop is Frankston. Since we left Moorabin and then Waverley the whole things become about money and success anyway. Pull the pin, go to the GC, bask in the success!

11 games there, 8 in Melbourne, 3 whereever, all the draft pics under the sun...the red, white and black will live forever!

Supporters like you are the reason why this club has had very little intestinal fortitude for such a long time. Saints supporters and the club itself have to learn that to get any where in this comp and in life, you have to believe in yourself and then fight for your life. The saints and its supporter base must demand success and not expect mediocrity as it has done for so long. We don't need and in fact we cant accomadate this sort of attitude at our club any longer.

I've been fighting for the Saints life for 42 years...I fought to stay at Moorabin...fought to stay at Waverley!!! You'll go where ever the league tell you to go and no-where else! Fighters make plans, including alternate ones to ensure survival.

i actually think that there is more chance of us being merged with another melb team after the comp goes to 18 teams (and then in those few years after they'll want to trim it again to make it more national and even)

We won't be merging or shifting to the Gold Coast. It has been made very clear the AFL want a new team on the GC.

but they will trim the comp a few years after the two new sides come in
18 is too many, too many melb sides.
if u are in a crap possie around that time.......look out.

i reckon we'll be safe and always stay as a 'whole' team
