It's Official The Clubs in Crisis

Post: # 573217Post 3rd generation saint »

This club is in crisis, there is no desire, no hunger, no plan, no direction.
We got players who play for pay cheques.
Management has to make a statement now or risk losing 10,000 members.

I think they're gone already.

20,000 or less at next weeks game. (vs Melbourne at the Dome)

Will start talk of gold coast relocation.

Statement made, some players should get the Capuano treatment, Fiora is first on my list has lost all credibility this year and has no heart.
Incidently have we promoted another rookie for Gehrig?

Nope, we have none that are fit.

McQualter already elevated.

Eddy - Hamstring/Calf 2 weeks
Chivers - Shoulder 3-4 weeks
Attard - Knee 4-6 weeks
Miles - Leg 1 week
Haretuku - Fit but playing VFL 2's
Van Rheenen - Foot Season

Miles and Eddy next off the ranks.

Definetly in crisis.

This team reminds me of the teams that used to run around in the 80s. You could tell all they were interested in was the disco after the game. Not sure what this team is interested in because discos are banned after the games.

f****** PATHETIC!

I'm officially a Gold Coast Broncos supporter.

It's simple.

If we have to rebuild then I suggest we start with the coaching staff.

Until Ross Lyon and co. allow our players to play to their strengths we are nothing.

If Harvs really retires at the end of the year then you walk with him Ross Lyon, you are turning us into a laughing stock jackass.

Like I have said before I would rather play like we did in 04 and get hammered by Brisbane at the Gabba in the first final then play like this and get beaten by everyone, that is everyone who has not fallen asleep.

The fact that Ross Lyon claims he does not know why the players play the shutdown game shows he has no control and no idea. He blames Hawthorn last year and Sydney for it this year, yet those teams can actually attack at times, especially the Hawks.

Shouldn't players be disciplined or dropped for disobeying the coaches instructions? If they are really ignoring Lyon then why has this not happened to any players?

No respect
No idea
No hope Ross Lyon.

I don't like the word crisis, but at the very least, we're a horrible mess with nobody capable of cleaning it up.

You know the worst thing?

Given how we are coached it will take us 4-6 games to get our % back up to where it was previously :(

I would like someone to ask Ross what his gameplan is? and why attack attack attack as we did previous to his appointment is not suitable for this team?

Remember the good old days where we used to double and come close to tripling teams scores.

Of course it's not falling.

We are flying, we have a smashing record, 4 and 5 (same as 2007) with a percentage just one point down on the same time last year.

We are flying, we are playing some of our best football I have witnessed for many many years, our membership has broken records beyond all expectations.

We have a game plan that has the country enthralled.

The sky is not falling.

I'm on top of the world with the way we are playing so even if the sky falls, I'll be above it.

I'm rapt with the way our team is standing up and being counted.

Harves must be pumped about the way things are going.

We are a great side and the sky is not falling on us.

How are we going to rebuild? Theres only going to one more open draft before the new teams start getting their concessions.

Trade?

Is it possible to trade 80% of the list in one season? Probably be a wise move. Everyone overates us,so they'll give us good picks/players for ours. We've supposedly got the best list in the league,so if we trade the entire list we should demand only the best other players,we'd have traded for an all star line up.
Fool proof!

**SIGH**
We are behind the Blues on the ladder, unless it is 1995 again, we are most certainly in crisis.
Luckily we have some experience in this area and by 2013 we should have assembled enough talent to play finals for a year or two and get rid of another seemingly (St Kilda successful) coach.
