Like the ins ...last chance for Macqualter and Fiora, will be interesting to see whether Ferg is Back or Forward.
Hope Armo being named last as the bench choices doesn't mean anything...deserves to retain his spot and his hard in under a must against the Lions

will scream blue murder if armo is dropped. One of the few whose tackle sticks and can kick a lovely goal.saint patrick wrote:Like the ins ...last chance for Macqualter and Fiora, will be interesting to see whether Ferg is Back or Forward.

M.Gardiner - D.Armitage - M.Ferguson - J.Geary are my picksMC Euro Gusto wrote:I hope the way the extended bench is listed is no indication on who is likely to be dropped as i would be dirty if armo didn't get a place
The latter two may swap with C.Jones or A.McQualter.
Pretty happy with the changes, shame Baker couldn't come up.

Of course it doesn't. Selectors browse the SS forum before making final selections. Don't you know anything?saintsrus wrote:Seems getting form for Casey doesnt count for this clubSolar wrote:

Nice to see Leigh Fisher in the back pocket where he belongs.
Dempster is lucky. A couple of pathetic efforts cost us goals last week.
Schneider should thank his lucky stars too. Another game like last week's should see him banished to Casey for a few weeks, if the slelction panel has the balls to do it.
Geary, Ferguson and Jones are the most likely of the group to get the nod outside of Riewoldt.
Brisbane is in good form. A win over them in Brisbane would be a huge positive.

I dont think he will start there. Have a feeling he may tag Black as he has been in great form.cwrcyn wrote:Nice to see Leigh Fisher in the back pocket where he belongs.

Good point. The selectors also browse the players forum to see what their opinions are.Huzzad wrote:Of course it doesn't. Selectors browse the SS forum before making final selections. Don't you know anything?saintsrus wrote:Seems getting form for Casey doesnt count for this clubSolar wrote:

Im also surprised Fizz is there. From what I saw against Northern Bullants, apart from one good pass Fizz did stuff all. Didnt see the Collingwood game though so he may have gathered 2 hard ball gets instead of 1 and perhaps laid a decent tackle. I believe the team walks smaller as opposed to walks taller when Fizz is in the team.
Happy Ferg might be given a chance. Hopefully he grabs it. I agree with what somebody said earlier, Armo shouldn't be dropped. Is a clever player and he needs time in the seniors to develop, he will improve with the likes of Lenny and Ball around him. I'd be very disappointed if he were to be dropped.
