Was apperently doubtful last week and that is why Mini was put on the list. Dont know why he was doubtful but it may have been the foot and they are just protecting it. It is a long week for us. 9 days in between games so hopefully it will not be a problem.

Yeah saw that too :( hopefully it's just a precaution and he'll be training on Thursday. Ball out would be a huge blow to our already slim chances up there

Its bloody aggrevating (if he really is injured  ) everytime we have a player in form or we get a run on someone gets suspended or injured. :x :x :x

You just cant help but be jealous of teams like sydney ..... Kennelly pops his knee cap out and may only miss a week. :x :x :x

Ball says the moon boot is 'only precautionary after gettng a knock to the foot' despit vision showing he was proppy

I'd be very happy if they are taking precautions with every knock-.

A number of players have spotted "moon boots" during the week & have gotten up for the games - may not be anything major.

Hope you are right, but it smacks of dark times ahead, a loss against the Lions will hurt bad.

PS How's the drumming coming along?

Let's see if he turns up at training tomorrow.

I'll be there and hopefully so will Bally.

Channel 10 [I think it was] reported along the lines of 'in further injury worries for the Saints, Ball suffered an ankle injury in Friday night's game'.

Didn't speculate on his availability for Brisbane game.

CH 10 showed him with the boot on they didn't elaborate on the injury apart from "maybe has a foot injury).

Wasn't getting his usual quota of head bandages, so he thought he try out the moon boot injury accessory...

Too many games on the concrete of Telstra Dome.

I have long thought that Luke, with his type on injury, should, as a professional action, seek a trade to a club that does not play 14+ games a year on an unsafe surface.

IMHO.

What i really want to know is when we are playing Football on the moon in the year 2485 - what will the injured player be wearing on his foot if it gets injured?

Good to see the chicky who did that report on Bally did her homework on the "moonboot".......or correctly termed as a CAM walker.
It just restricts lateral movement and gives you a little bit of up and down movement. Could be precautionary but you don't usually get put into one unless the doc seems to think that there is a possible serious problem.
I hope it's not too serious cos we need him out on the park.

It was a closed training session. Channel 10 were asked to leave. They were there for the Gehrig story, and had no real answers as to what was wrong with Ball. The story is simply the fottage of Ball in a boot.

Interesting to see if he does line up, but we can bet that without the Gehrig story to bring the cameras in, we'd all be expecting him to. I wonder if he'd have been wearing the boot if he knew the cameras would be there.
