Was pura milk? I think we had sponsors before that. I remember them being sponsored by Snow deli in the 80's I think.
How do you manage to come up with such hard questions?

A question for you.
Who did the Saints play in their 1st game at Waverley, who won and by how much?
I don't think this will be too hard for you.

And I was there. It was a shocking game.
Checking on the net isn't really cheating,
It's learning. Your question. I still have
some time before I go out.

Alan Jeans used a walkie talkie to communicate with runners in the early '60's (1961/62?)
The League barred the innovation because they said the ariel could injure someone.

08-Jun-1996 Saturday nite
Scores for Part One:
ESSENDON.......4.2 7.5 9.9 (63)
ST KILDA.......2.3 5.6 6.7 (43)
Scores for Part Two:
ESSENDON.......11.10 13.11 (89)
ST KILDA........8.9 9.13 (67)
Essendon made five changes to the side that played on Saturday. Out went Chris Daniher, Mark Thompson, Scott Cummings, Che Cockatoo-Collins and Ben Doolan; and in came James Hird (much to the protest of St Kilda), Stephen Alessio, Danny Morgan, David Calthorpe and for his first ever game, and becoming the 1000th player ever to play for the Dons was Justin Blumfield.
