Given we have a chronic shortage of options for key defensive players, it is disappointing that Full Back and Centre Half Back are occupied by players not on St Kilda's list.

Gwilt has the talent, I'd love to see that big body bashing folks around in the opposition defence lines.

in 3 years he's gone from a brilliant debut to trashing in the magoos.

I suspect if he can't break into the side in the next month or so, he'll be struggling to find a spot in 09.

rix and mac have been sharing the rucking duties. Would not be suprised it blake played down back in an attempt at pushing for selection as a key back.

will be intresting to watch who plays full games as at least 4 will be needed to play next friday.... 3 to replace outs in Roo, X & Goose (with Raph already counted as last weeks replcement for Max)

King is listed with a hammy 2 weeks....
so 4 of those listed to play here will be in the 22 to play the pies on my reconning

One or two of the players chosen for Casey will perhaps withdraw, otherwise we will have 4 players in the team to play the pies with a 5 day break. You would think Blake would be a chance to help in defence with goose out.
