Trivia question-Who wore the number 44.
Does anyone know who wore the number 44 for the Saints and captained the club?

The only player i can think of other than milney who wore the 44 was mick malthouse.

thanks, the story is.... i work at a foxtel kiosk at one of the major shopping centres and my boss who knows i am a saint struck up a conversation with a person who was watching old st kilda footage on one of the kiosks tvs. the person identified himself as one of the players and said he use to captain the club and he wore the number 44. he then autographed my copy of the dvd wall to wall, however i cant work out who it is as i was not down there myself.

barry breen started in No 44 but went through several before ending on No.4
