As a team we are atrociously bad. No cohesion or belief. Nothing to suggest we'll rise about the area of 8th -16th on the ladder.
concur
i saw that last year when we bludgeoned carlton on raw talent.
no cohesion, but our talent was just so much ahead of theirs we beat them down in the end.
we saw glimpses of teamwork against footscray and geelong before breaking down again.
against sydney, as ugly as that game was, we played for each other.
depressing at it may seem looking at the port game, our talent to match it with the best is there.
changing the players isn't going to solve anything.
even against adelaide and the geecats in the preseason we showed what we are capable off.
1. is correct we have a very good list.
2. is correct we often don't play as a team together often enough. 3. nexus is happy when we fail.
Are you really that stupid?
The Saints were a top 4 side and still should be. You just don't get it do you? You just don't realize the damage that was caused when BUTTHEAD sacked Thomas. To be fair to RL, it wouldn't have mattered if we had got Sheedy, Pagan, Mathews, Jeans, Hafey and Barassi as coach all rolled into one. The players loved GT, the chemistry and those intangibles that make a great side were all in place. That was all destroyed by BUTTHEAD. Even though we still have the talent we are going nowhere fast because of BUTTHEAD'S decision to sack GT.

May have been .......but we are where we are and Players need to do what they are paid to do ......follow instruction to the very best of their ability.......and provide feedback that is constructive to the group of coaches , above all complement their fellow team members developinf cooperation .

History is history, judge me on the current.
If you really love the Saints then in your heart of hearts you know that what BUTTHEAD did destroyed our premiership chances with this group of players. If GT was still there we would still be a top 4 side. You also know that GT never had a fully fit and full strength side yet still made 2 prelims in a row. You also know that if those idiots didn't invade the ground after Gehrig's 100th, we would have lead by 5 goals at quarter time instead of 5 points. You also know that when Sydney over-ran us in the prelim we had 7 regular players missing from our side because of injury and you also know that Sydney only made 1 forced change in the last 10 weeks of that year which is a FU!@#$ing football miracle.
