Nothing new. Rix never has been and never will be an AFL-standard player. No skills, no smarts, too short.
If Gardiner isn't available next week I would like to see McEvoy have a run against Richmond. He would have been smashed into tiny pieces by Lade and Brogan, but he will be able to compete with Pattison as a backup ruckman.

not sure how many players are listed in the AFL exactly, but 42 (?is that standard amount) x 16 teams = 672...Rix is in the 670-672 bracket..
An absolute joke of a player.. However, I put the blame on Ross... Should never have been selected.. Sure, we were down King and Gardy, yet if he didnt want to play Big Mac (or VR if he could sneak him onto the list), then he should have played Blake and Kosi as rucks and G should have been in the lend Roo a hand..
With greek easter this weekend, alot of my relatives are spending many hours in church... Im directing all their prairs to Rix never playing again..

He's just a dumb footballer. he let his man continually run free. He doesn't drop back into defence to help his defence, he doesn't run forward to help his forwards. I can't remember one hitout out of the centre to the midfielders advantage. That is where the game is set up.
Yea I want a ruckman who can be in the forwardline, in the backline, & at the same time keeping on his opponent

5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.
