2008 No1 Pick
If the SKFC ever did any thing smart it will go after this kid with a total vengance and trade what ever it takes to get him.
Saw him play again at Swans on Anzac day and he is going to change the way AFL ruckman are and play
Leap Unfu*King believable 10/10 plus
Speed look above 10/10
Hands Both 8/10
Tapp work 9/10
Tackling amazing 9/10
Second efforts amazing 10/10
Marking 8/10
Kicking 6/10
Still learning to kick his short kick is good, long not so good
All this from a kid who only took up AFL 4 years ago
If you get a chance go and see him in the U18s Carnival
He will blow your mind as to what he can become.

Re: 2008 No1 Pick
I'd think we have enough guys in the team who can't kick.BradWA wrote:Kicking 6/10

Melbourne look likely to get the no.1 pick unless Carlton somehow manage to win less than 5 games. Which may happen.
I wonder if they'd take Natanui and Kreuzer, that would make for quite a ruck combination for the next 10 years.
Heard Daniel Rich is an epic gun though, they could probs do with another awesome midfielder.
We got McEvoy last year, no real need to get Natanui, I'd rather get Rich.

Beg
Beg to differ Rich is good but where do 6"8" On ballers(yes he is that good) grow on trees
Nick N plays like a onballers and is only 18 and still growing

Re: Beg
Naitanui is closer to 6'5 (may reach 6'6 max) and I wouldn't think an onballer who can't kick is all that useful. I haven't seen a lot of them, but Ruch would be my pick at this stage.BradWA wrote:Beg to differ Rich is good but where do 6"8" On ballers(yes he is that good) grow on trees

Not
He is 6" 8 as I am 6"2 and he towers over me so get your facts straight
Plus saw rich play on saturday on the TV and he is not that good yet plays in the best team in the WAFL with the best players.
See how he gos playing for Melb will get the best tagger and wont be a star,
Nantanui will be a super star like the game has not seen try and watch him on Fox ABC when Swans get a televised game

Nicholas Naitanui
You will never see a more athletic, raw, exciting player come through the draft.
His kicking ability is understated, for such a young player (experience wise) it's 'good' and definitely not poor, just not Luke Hodge or Dal Santo.
197cm (may have grown) who has natural physical strength/speed/leap that has not and probably never will be seen again.
Natural inside mid/ruck - I put inside mid first such is his attack on the ball and natural style, a more athletic, physical and team oriented Adam Goodes (2003) with far more exposed good form pre draft.
He is a marketing dream
