22 points at half time.

How many points do we need to win?

Who will get them?

Why is Chaplin able to punch the ball off the playing surface from a marking contest with Roo? Because Roo is in the pocket. Why go wide?

you will find it's 19

When we play attacking footy we play well, when we play defensive we are out of our depth.

I still say it will be a long year if we maintain the Ross Lyon/Sydney style of gane week in week out.
nothing to do will the very bad/poor skill errors of the players!!!!!
spot on Chook.

Have a look at the kicking effectiveness stats? this lot couldnt hit the side of a barn FFS.

We overrate THE LOT by 25-30% and flog ourselves silly when we come out beat a lowly Essendon after letting them get within 16pts after leading by 51.

Nope...I reckon 3 goals and 4 behinds = 22 points.

I would think we'd need about 70 - 80 to win.

Nick Holland just referred to BJ as Luc Goddard. Obviously a French movie fan.

Can next week's game banner have the following statement. "Harden the f**k up".

I think that should be the theme for the rest of the year.

I wouldn't put one up.

1/2 of them would shirk the bump.

True. They'll fall to the ground the moment the banner touches them.

Mate,
i love the confidence you have, but honestly who do u think will stand up. we are gettign smashed in the ruck, and are playing too defensive.

If we persist with this, we will get grinded into the ground and lose by 7-10 goals, FFS take some risks and go down swinging.

The only glimar of hope i possess is the fact that port have had a few last qrt fadeouts last few weeks.

But then again they always seem to play out of their skins againist us and things go there way, eg Boak's inside out torp goal. When things like that go through the big sticks, its all the signs i need.

Cmon saints fire up FFS, give me something to be inspired about!!!!

Don't worry, we're bound to win a flag in the next fifty years! Just not the next forty-nine.

Why don't we stand the mark?

I've lost count of how many times this season that opposition players are allowed to gain 10-15m by either not standing the mark or standing too far behind.

Wow...

Gram's kicking has depreciated enormously from last year.

He can't even kick a drop punt anymore, let alone to a player.
