I'm cool about Birss and Rix (I know Rix isn't much chop, but we can hardly go in with just Kosi and Blake against Brogan and Lade.
I'm worried about a situation in which Birss can get a game ahead of G-Train.
BTW, how can Port's list be said to be unchanged when they have named 5 on the interchange bench??

Clint Jones - and stay out. Players who cannot use the footy aren't wanted.
Michael Rix - possibly his last game if he does nothing. One last go...
Shane Birss - must step up.
Not the worst changes.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.
really like the thinking of this team.
baker in for gilbert is a good start, will go with one of the many small forwards port have. Otherwise he can ake over from fish tagging their best midfielder and fish can go down back.
Rix will play as a rucking defender. Will play on lade who is always our bogey player (even with his form being down). Just needs to shut him down from hurting us on the scoreboard and draw equal in the ruck.
Birss is in very very good form for casey and has the ability to go forward as well. Great mark and kick for goal gets him in ahead of jones. I'm sorry but we can't afford to play a small forward who can't kick straight.
more confident, despite the fact that we are missing our two main rucks and best small forward.
glad Gehrig isn't in, struggles when plaing away even when he is in great form, let alone the form he is now.

yep, they never expected them back and if it's not progressing for either they will rest them another week and bring them back a fortnight later for the pies match (taking advantage of the weeks break)ralphysaints35 wrote:They said during the week we expect gardiner, schneider back following week against richmond didnt theymidas_touch wrote:Still no M Gardiner - don't tell me this is gonna be another case of M Gardiner 2 weeks.

it depends on what you class a good game if getting cheep kicks in the backline and basically staying away from the contest, giving half efforts and wimpy tackles , being flat footed at almost every stoppage and then butchering the ball every time you kick it then yeah grammy had a blinder but i would rather our players go in hard, win the ball ,chase the player ,get to the contest, lay the tackle and make it stick even if they cant kickLENNY LEADS THE WAY wrote:Are u sure? i think it's just we expext more from Grammy if he had've had his kicking boots on last week it would've been a really good game.st_Trav_ofWA wrote:bit stiff for jones i reckon Grammy was by far a lower performer then him last week

is in the mix if he dosen't come up.
from memory i think allen kicked 6 last week for casey so they prob just chucked in him the emerg list to fill the numbers
Welcome back Bakes - very important player to our structure imo.
Still not very confident about the game in general, to be honest i just dont wanna see us get pumped. Despite port being 1 and 4, they have played better than that in all their games except against sydney. Ill be tipping port to win, but i am more than willing to get that tip wrong if the boys pull off a huge upset.
Blake and Gram don't use it much better.evertonfc wrote:Where does this Clinton Jones love come from?
When will people learn that turnovers actually mean the other team gets the ball.
In fact, both are bigger liabilities than Jones at the moment.
Obviously I understand that we need Blake as King and Gardiner are down.

and he showed more heart in the game then gram did
not Jones love more harden the F**k up Grammy
i rate a bad kick who does the little things like chasing and tackeling and puts his body into the contest slightly hgher then a bad kick who watches and is soft in every aspect of the game !!
in a prefect world we could drop CJ and Grammy for players who can kick but sadly besides BJ our cupboard is pretty bare for players like that
