Banner Sayings round6 V Port Adelaide *entries closed*
no milestones this week.
but the banner should have something to do with 'anzac day" or "anzac weekend" in it!
sorry about the late notice, but sayings close TONIGHT!

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."

Maybe you should pull your head in!! The ANZAC sense of humour was legendary, maybe you should adopt a little of it and realise that a light-hearted pyss-take on an internet forum about a footy banner is not being disrespectful.saintdooley wrote:thats just a waste of my eyes that i had to read thatTrue Believer wrote:Baker's in,

And before you start to carry-on, my late grandfather spent a number of years as a POW on the Burma railway, and carried the scars to his grave. Having heard some of what he endured, neither you or anyone else can even begin to imagine the depth of respect I have for him and all others that served. Get some perspective.

I agree with this banner saying as well. If I don't see it on the banner this week, it would be upsetting.cowboy18 wrote:I agree 100%.Eastern wrote:St Kilda honours the ANZACS

This should be the only week when the message is NOT football related !!
Any allusion to wartime courage and football is too simple.
I like it, but ANZAC day is about honoring all war veterans, and ANZACs are a specific subset of that aren't they? Perhaps it should be St Kilda honors our war veterans etc ??Eastern wrote:St Kilda honours the ANZACS
