Xavier Clarke came back on a quarter after he was knocked out.
I would have thought that he would have some degree of concussion - he was completely knocked out and didn't move for ages - but he would have been tested before he was sent back on and he must have been fine. Tough guy, I suppose. Wow.

We seem to be so easily knocked off the ball - about 4 times that quarter when it was a one on one contest we were brushed aside - we need harder stronger bodies in there

Geelong are beatable - we gave them a touch up in the first quarter however we must improve our skills especially our kicking for goal we have only had 5 less scoring shots than them yet we are 40 points down

Sam Fisher, I love the way he plays but why run and collect the ball, run straight down the ground and kick it directly to 2 oppo players in teh goal square?

This sort of decision results in easy rebound and oppo goals.

Clarke is looking good again.

DalSanto is trying but is being beaten by Ling comprehensively. Is Goddard OK? They mentioned he had hamstring tightness.

We still continue to miss easy goals from set shots and do better on the run. We need to develop the midfield to allow more of this style so we can increase our accuraccy. The big three are too inaccurate from set shots.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

If I ever have to listen to Huddo commentate another Saints/Cats game, I will climb through my TV and give him an even higher voice than he is currently blessed with.

#$%^&*@#$%!!!!!

Looked so good early.

Yeah a 10 goal last term with them only kicking one or two is very unlikely, but I guess while there is still time, there is still time to win.

Because you can count the players that are actually good kicks at goal on one finger and that also goes for players in the side capable on kicking a goal on the run!

King has been really good. I enjoy watching him play. He's a great addition to our team. With him and Gardiner... we could really have a great ruck duo... need to get both of them on the park, though.

Edit - Just thought of another thing: we really do need to do something about the way the ball is kicked to Roo. it's over his head (or he's pushed under it) SO often. It's really frustrating.

Why do we do stupid little handballs to unaware players and let Geeelong players get a hand on the ball?

It seems we have given away 5 goals today just from this lazy play.
